Since 1896, Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas has followed the pledge of our founders Ballington and Maud Booth to “go wherever we are needed and do whatever comes to hand.”

At Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas our commitment and continuum of service not only means identifying at-risk populations and providing high-quality program services and facilities; but also advocating for those we serve and standing up for the area’s most vulnerable individuals.

Our organization believes that every man, woman and child should be treated with respect and dignity and not only receive the individualized supports they need – but also the hope they deserve to work towards self-reliant lives.

Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas is a great place to share your resources, time and talents
