Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas serves thousands of men, women and children each year in Maryland, Virginia,the District of Columbia and the Carolinas. Since 1896, our highly-trained and dedicated staff, currently numbered at nearly 900 and more than 2,200 volunteers have worked, not only to serve those most in need, but also to create sustained positive life changes leading to self-reliance, dignity and hope.

We are happy to work with all types of media - whether it be providing a compelling human interest story, sharing the consequences of current events on individuals, or offering our service leaders to speak on topics like based on their wealth of expertise in their fields.
