Donate In-Kind
VOACC makes every effort to meet the immediate needs of our vulnerable adults and families during these difficult time, but we often need the support of the community.
Your tax-deductible donation of in-kind goods can improve the life of a man, woman or child at one of our programs. We are in need of food items and personal supplies for the men, women and children we serve. Items such as, but not limited to:
- canned goods and dry non-perishable food items
- female sanitary supplies
- toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo, shaving items
- socks and underwear
- warm clothes (especially size L-3X)
- winter coats, hats, gloves and boots
- bath towels and washcloths
- linens and blankets
- items for our facilities, such as office supplies & equipment, furniture and more
Many of these items can be found on our Amazon Wish List. If you choose to shop on Amazon, make sure you sign up for the Amazon Smile program and choose VOACC as your "Charity of Choice."
We have facilities located throughout our entire affiliate that will gladly accept your in-kind donation. If you are near our Administrative Office located at 7901 Annapolis Road, Lanham MD., you are more than welcome to drop off your items with us. If you do not have the time do actually go shopping and deliver the items to us, a gift card from a local grocery store or retailer can be mailed (or emailed) to us at the address above. Or please contact us to find the closest VOACC facility near you.
